Custody

Your assets. Your keys.

BONDIX will never hold the assets, meaning the tokens exchanged through the platform, or the private keys to participants’ accounts. Issuers and investors operate independently from their own accounts on the respective networks.

Tokens in your accounts

Assets are held in their owners’ accounts on the networks used. Issuers and investors exchange tokens directly and independently: BONDIX neither receives nor holds them in custody.

Keys under your control

Each participant retains personal custody of the private keys to the accounts they create on the respective networks. This principle applies to every platform role and profile.

Sign with your wallet

Participants authorize and sign operations from their accounts using their chosen wallet. Connecting a wallet to BONDIX does not transfer custody of tokens or private keys to the platform.

Choose how to store your keys

Each participant chooses a self-custody solution compatible with the networks used and manages its access, protection and backups.

Software wallet

An application on your device lets you manage private keys and sign operations. The keys remain your responsibility and are not entrusted to BONDIX.

Hardware wallet

A dedicated device stores private keys and signs operations internally. You retain control of the device and use it with an interface compatible with the network.

The platform does not receive your keys

BONDIX does not request, collect or store participants’ private keys or recovery phrases. Connecting an account uses its public address and the proof of control required by the access flow, without handing these secrets to the platform.

Self-custody for every role and network

This principle applies to issuers, investors and every other role or profile with accounts on the networks used, including securities accounts and payment accounts. Each owner chooses how to store their keys, using a software wallet or hardware wallet.

BONDIX’s role

BONDIX provides the interface and coordinates workflows, verifies events and updates the registry according to the operating model. These activities do not involve custody of participants’ tokens or private keys. Independent transfers remain subject to the security’s transfer rules and the required access checks.

Protection and recovery

Owners are responsible for storing private keys, any recovery phrases and backups. BONDIX does not hold a copy from which it can recover keys: recovery options depend on the chosen wallet and configuration.
